Food Runner responsibilities include: Delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests. Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff

The food runner is the liaison between the server and kitchen helping to ensure that meals and other food items are correctly delivered to guests, including take-out orders. These individuals must maintain a strong knowledge of the restaurant’s menu and cuisine in addition to understanding and performing side-work.
