Commercial cleaning business owners and workers can earn up to $20 per hour for footage of their everyday work with Shift.

Start with the client agreement

Your company may have authority over its employees without having authority to record a client’s property. Review each service agreement and get the necessary permission before identifying a site as recordable.

Offices can expose names, documents, access codes, computer screens, whiteboards, and security procedures. Choose commercial spaces where the team can keep sensitive information out of frame.

Choose a responsible operator

One manager should decide which employees participate and which work areas are approved. Give workers a simple way to stop recording whenever a customer, coworker, or private item enters the area.

Normal chemical-handling rules, protective equipment, warning signage, and site procedures remain mandatory. Recording is secondary to safe cleaning work.

Explain the business accurately

When applying, include the kind of properties you service, the work your team performs, how many workers may participate, and who can authorize each location. Do not promise access to a client site before confirming it.

Shift pays up to $20 per hour for footage, but does not guarantee a fixed number of recording hours.
